Raise a Seeing Eye® puppy to accomplish its special destiny | The Seeing Eye, Inc.

- About The Photos Displayed On The Main Page Of The Website -

The Seeing Eye always has numerous dogs in the headquarters building - puppies being raised by staff, dogs in training, ambassador dogs and of course, working dogs getting to know their new handlers. The holiday photo at the top of the main page which was taken by Media Specialist, Ryan Hartigan, shows some of our in-house pups enjoying the holiday decorating and fireplace at the main campus entrance. There are two large golden retrievers in the photo, both laying on the rug in front of the fireplace, and a close eye reveals two of our newest shepherd puppies being raised on campus; one is completely out of the shot (licking Ryan and the camera), with only the very tip of his tail visible in the foreground. The other, a sable shepherd, is lying perfectly between the golden retrievers paws.

We hope to begin rotating more of Ryan's great photos every couple of weeks throughout the coming year!

The second photo on the main page is our regular photo which shows a Black Lab in harness with a Lab and a Shepherd puppy.

The third photo on the main page is the winning photo from the October Photo Contest. This picture of her 8-month old Yellow Lab puppy, Sally, was submitted by Kathy Orbin who is a member of the Paws Abilities Puppy Club of Luzerne County, PA!

Our November-December Thanksgiving/Christmas/Hanukah/New Years Holiday Photo Contest is now underway, so grab those digital cameras and your puppies and get those imaginations working. Click here to see the Current Contest Entries.
